INNOVATIVE BLACKJACK WITH PLAYER-TO-PLAYER LIVE-VIDEO

Video Blackjack is one of Ezugi’s most innovative products to date, a game that delivers a unique, shared player experience through live-video features within the user interface.

The aim of the game is to give players the feeling of a genuine land-based casino experience, as they are seated next to fellow players and can see and talk to them too!

Video Blackjack allows up to seven players at the table, with one seat allowed per player. A turnedon camera on the user’s device is a requirement to enter the game. To respect players’ privacy, no watchers are allowed.

Video Blackjack follows the standard European Blackjack rules and includes the most popular side bets, Perfect Pairs and 21+3, offering the excitement of this classic casino table game and a new way to enjoy the online play.

Video Blackjack is available on mobile in portrait view only.

The game complies with all necessary regulations. Special attention has been paid to the video feature to ensure that it is safe and secure for players under any circumstances, with special procedures and solutions built in for inappropriate content.

HOW TO PLAY

CARD VALUES
• Cards from 2 to 10 are worth their face value
• Face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings) are each worth 10
• Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is more favourable to the hand. Note that a ‘soft hand’ includes an Ace worth 11.

THE DEALING OF THE CARDS
After the allotted betting time has expired, the game starts with the dealer dealing one face-up card to each player and the dealer, followed by a second face-up card dealt to each player, and a face-down card to the dealer. The value of the player’s initial hand is displayed right next to the cards.

BLACKJACK
If the value of your initial two-card hand is exactly 21, you have Blackjack!

INSURANCE
If the dealer’s up card is an Ace, a player can choose to place an additional insurance bet that pays out if the dealer goes on to win with Blackjack. A player clicks ‘Yes’ to purchase this ‘Insurance’ and then places an additional bet equal to half their initial Blackjack bet.

The dealer then takes a peek at his or her face-down card to check for Blackjack. Should the dealer have Blackjack (i.e. an Ace + 10, Jack, Queen or King), the player wins twice the insurance bet.

If the dealer does not have Blackjack, the player loses his or her insurance bet and the game continues.

DOUBLE DOWN
If the dealer’s initial hand isn’t Blackjack, the game continues with various other exciting playing opportunities. If the value of the player’s hand is not a 21, they get the opportunity to Double Down — meaning that they will double their bet amount and will get dealt one additional card.

HIT OR STAND
Alternatively, the player can decide to Hit to be dealt an additional card to add to the value of their hand. The player can Hit more than once, receiving additional cards until they decide to Stand once they are satisfied with the value of their hand.

SPLIT
When a player’s first two cards are of an equal value, the player can choose to ‘Split’ them into two separate hands. If the player splits two Aces, he or she will receive just one additional card on each hand. No doubling is allowed.

DEALER’S HAND
When all players have taken their turns, the dealer reveals his or her cards. The dealer is required to Hit on a hand of 16 or less and must Stand on a hand of 17 or more.

THE GAME OUTCOME
The player wins when the value of their final hand is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand or when the dealer busts. If the player’s hand value is the same as the dealer’s hand, the game round ends in a push and the player’s bet is returned. Blackjack is only possible using the two cards in the initial two-card deal.

If the sum of the player’s hand exceeds 21, the player busts and loses his or her bet on that hand.

Just like our regular Blackjack, Video Blackjack features the popular Perfect Pairs and 21+3 optional side bets.

A player may place either or both of these side bets in combination with their main Blackjack bet. This gives them the chance to win on any side bet whether they later win or lose on their main Blackjack bet.

PERFECT PAIRS
Allows the player to bet on receiving any pair (e.g. two Queens, two Aces, two 7s etc) in the first two cards of his or her hand.

The level of payout depends on the probability of being dealt that pair and the odds paid also depend on if the cards are the same suit and/or colour.

There are three types of winning pair combinations:
• Perfect Pair — same suit, e.g. 2x Ace of spades
• Coloured Pair — different suits of the same colour, e.g. 2 of diamonds (red) and 2 of hearts (red)
• Mixed Pair — different suits of different colours, e.g. 6 of clubs (black) and 6 of hearts (red).
